The director of the College Design Shops, Tripp Edwards is also a faculty member in the School of Industrial Design. As shop director, he maintains the shop and its safe use; and instructs students as they explore their designs. In addition, he teaches modelmaking courses in the School of Industrial Design. Edwards returned to Tech after working for 10 years building models and prototypes. He earned a B.F.A. in sculpture and photography from the State University of West Georgia and an M.S. in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech. He continues his interest in woodworking whenever time allows.
